Look 001 echoes the moon description on page 1 of An Observation of Heaven. Our ateliers in Kenya make the corset/bodysuit from a breathable cotton base and structured corsetry. The top corset layer is made of individually hand-stitched yellow beads that follow the line of the wearer's body.
Finally, the silk-organza creates a dress that cascades down to shield the legs with a veil-like elegance; it pools on the ground around the model like the silver of the moonlight. Held together by strict tailoring around the breasts, a silken ribbon wrapped around the grommets in the back creates an elegant trail from the back opening.
Look 001 is the most technically simple piece of the collection. Purposefully so, she is the most symmetric and systematic look.
