look 005 is perhaps the most authored; the leather corset mirrors Icarus's breastplate. Made with the same laser-cutting method, with hand-soldered engravings of chepoghisho-designed visual motifs. The panels were measured to the model's torso, then cut apart and hand-stitched with gold metallic thread.
The skirt is nothing short of a work of art, made in Kenya by our ateliers; the skirts are full layers of one another. Silk-blend organza fabrics of vivid sunset orange, rusted yellow, and deep copper, all under a heavy satin white overskirt whose glow is purely angelic.
Look 05 bloom pays homage to its predecessors, Icarus and Fall; the colors and materials reflect upon one another while adhering to the collection's changing narrative. The name is inspired by the same source, because after Icarus fell, perhaps it was not destruction only that followed. Perhaps it was reconstruction, several pieces of what once was now held together by delicate gold thread.
